The X Factor Music Matcher is a revolutionary fun app for discovering more about the music influences of The X Factor finalists, specifically how their music tastes match up to your own!

The X Factor Music Matcher technology looks through your music library and then matches your musical preferences to those of the 12 finalists, and from this will suggest the one whose taste matches your own most closely.

So who will you be like?

Danyl, Olly or Jamie from The Overs?

Stacey, Rachel or Lucie from The Girls?

John and Edward, Kandy Rain or Miss Frank from The Groups?

or Lloyd, Rikki or Joe from The Boys?

This technology has been compiled by talking to The X Factor finalists one on one and creating a music library consisting of hundreds of their favourite tracks, from songs they sing in the shower to influences on their current music style to what’s on their iPod.

Be it Lloyd, Danyl or John & Edward, The X Factor Music Matcher will make a personalised recommendation to you in the form of three unique playlists:

1.      Five tunes you love and listen to regularly ordered in the finalist’s favourite sequence
2.      Five ‘hidden gems’ made up of those tracks you may not even realise you had but the finalist loves
3.      Five tracks you may like to purchase that will, in the finalist’s opinion, enhance your collection.

Each of the playlists can then be sent to your iTunes library or to your iPod so that you can listen to the playlists when out and about! How cool is that!
