Who needs jeans anyway...

We've heard of some crazy things on the underground but this is pants! And we mean that literally...

Saturday was No Pants (as in trousers or bottoms) Metro Day in Washington, USA, with commuters journeying to work in their best (hopefully!) skanties and boxers.

The event was organized by the art group Improv Everywhere to coincide with the same event in New York which is now in its seventh year.

Maybe someone should organise A No Pants Day over here - although they'd have to ban the over 30s in Y-fronts!  Yeek!
