Tonight is all about staying in! Why? Because Celeb Big Brother Hijacker is starting! Stop reading now if you don’t want the scoop…

Lovely Dermot is at the helm if the show once again but it will be Matt Lucas who will start the proceedings as he hijacks the role of Big Brother for launch night.

The new housemates include a brother and sister act who are circus performers, a fashion designer, a boxer, a racing driver, a beauty queen, a dancer, a politician, an entrepreneur (who started his own business when he was only eight)!, a conceptual artist, a classical musician and , a singer/songwriter who was nominated for a Mobo last year!

The fun part is that the housemates will be at the mercy of celebs during the whole series (or so we hope!) and this year the line up is eclectic to say the least.

There’s comedian Jimmy Carr, contemporary artists Jake and Dinos Chapman, Keith Lemon (from Bo’ Selecta), 70’s punk phenomenon Malcolm McLaren, bitchy Hollywood comedienne Joan Rivers, art critic Brian Sewell and footballer Ian Wright.

All of the housemates are aged between 18 and 21 so there are bound to be some interesting friendships to follow! We can’t wait for 9pm tonight on Channel 4.
