Hippos are a dog’s BFF!

Did you know that hippos are one of the most dangerous animals in the world? Although they like to laze around on muddy shores, they are quick to show their aggressive side when disturbed – they are strict veggies but creep up on them and you’ll get chomped!

This hippo seems to be an exception though. She’s called Jessica and she was washed up by a flood and nursed back to health by a game ranger in South Africa.

The love has definitely paid off, because Jessica now thinks she’s one of the ranger’s pet pooches – in fact she loves nothing more than curling up with her fellow canines after a hard day in the mud! Aw!
