We reckon this duo is going to be one to watch in 2009...

O.K., so we need to add La Roux to our current hit list for new music in 2009  (which currently consists of Lady GaGa, Florence and the Machine and White Lies). Their music is inspired by Prince and David Bowie and aims to being the 80's back to contrast with today's  modern pop music.

The group consists of singer Elly Jackson and synth player Ben Langmaid (who has previous expereince with Faithless producer Rollo Armstrong). They're supporting Lily Allen on her forthcoming UK tour in March, and are currently playing various clubs in England - click here to see exactly where.
