Poor Robert Pattinson nearly gets run over trying to escape from fans!!

Twilight star, and international man of the moment Robert Pattinson was hit by a taxi in New York, whilst trying to escape from a hoard of screaming fans. Poor Rob!!

The 23-year-old actor was attempting to run across the road to his trailer, but was hit by a taxi coming down the road. Don't worry though, we can confirm that he is fine and was not injured in the incident!!

In true superhero style, RPatz got up, dusted himself off and returned to his trailer. What a trooper!! He must have been really shaken up though. If it was us we would have totally milked it!

This time last year, RPatz was relatively new on the scene and now the world has gone bonkers for him and he can't even walk down the street without getting mobbed. A team of five burly security guards couldn't even save Rob from the mob of fans that swarmed him. His people were apparently 'livid,' and quite rightly so we think!

Poor Rob! We hope he's back to his normal self today. What do you make of that? Comments please!
