Could anyone really replace Johnny Depp?!
Do you reckon you'd still fancy Rpatz with dreads and rotting teeth?
In between filming the Twilight saga and being mobbed by adoring fans, Robert Pattinson has been tipped to play the prestigious part of Captain Jack Sparrow in the fifth and sixth Pirates of the Caribbean movies!
Johnny Depp has now committed to being in the upcoming fourth film, On Stranger Tides. However it's said that since his friend, longtime Disney chairman, Dick Cook, left the franchise, Johnny has been unsure of his future with the saga and whether or not it's time for Jack to walk the plank.
Now, don't get us wrong, we love Rob. You know that! But Johnny Depp IS Jack Sparrow and without him the films may as well abandon ship!
Maybe Rpatz would be a good Jack Sparrow, he's a great actor of course. But those are some really big pirate boots he's going to have to fill.
Do you reckon Rob would be a good replacement? Would you still watch the films without Johnny?

no he shouldnt even consider it. johnny depp is one of the worlds best actors and robert pattinson isnt, why even embarrass himself trying to fill those shoes?

He's a good actor, but he couldn't play jack sparrow aswell as johnny depp, If him and Keira Knightley leave I serously dont see the point in making anymore

:O !! Rob is an AMAZING actor and so is Johnny Depp but like it says "Johnny Depp IS Jack Sarrow" I dunno weather or not 2 watch the POTCB films or not now!! Well maybe just to gawp at Rpatz!! lol

dont get me wrong i aboultly love robert pattinson but he wouldnt suit the part and johnny depp has been playin this character for 3 films and it wouldnt be right without him it would seem odd n there will be no relationship between rob n the other actors so bascially it will just be wrong n if johnny aint init then i aint seeing it x

I love Rob but he really would not fit the part of Jack Sparrow. There is only one who can play him and that is Johnny Depp. I probably wouldn't go see it if he wasn't in it. :(

Don't get me wrong, I love Rob....but the films just won't be right without Johnny. He is the original Jack Sparrow and will always be Jack Sparrow.
