Normally when you go on holiday your pets have to stay at home... not anymore!

The 'treating pets like humans' craze started off quite innocently with cute little jackets to protect the pooches from the harsh weather in the winter.

Then came along booties, diamond encrusted collars, embellished bowls, Louis Vuitton carriers... everything went a bit crazy. (Thanks Paris!)

Now the craze has gone one step further in Canada where Fairmont Hotel in Vancouver are allowing their guests to have their pets stay in their room for an additional fee.

Oh it doesn't stop there... the hotel has even got two dogs as part of their staff. If you can't take your pet with you can take out the resident pooches Mavis and Beau for walkies.

You think it's crazy? Wait until you hear this: There is a menu for your pets to feast on...
