It's the battle of the Balmain, the supermodel versus the actress, but who really rocked the sequin dress?

Blake Lively stole the spotlight at HBO's Post-Emmys party in this sequin Balmain dress that shows off her gorgeous curves.

Blake doubled up on the bling with matching emerald earrings and ring finished off the look with some seriously stylish heels.  She slicked back her hair into a long plait and kept her make-up natural and fresh.

Fashion's golden girl Daria Werbowy is known for her glam punk style and she gave the Balmain dress a bad gal edge at the 'Model as Muse' party in New York.

She toughens up the look with chunky ankle boots, a super-shrunk black purse, smokey eyes and black nails.  Her shiny but messy bed hair just adds to her 'I couldn't care less' biker chick look.

Her diminuitive friend certainly gives her the seal of approval...awww!
