He's been out of the celeb scene for a while, but is Robbie Williams trying to make a comeback as Jack Sparrow?

Here he is in L.A standing surreptitiously next to a pillar advertising Pirates of the Caribbean with a new beard. 

He's also clearly trying to master Johnny's signature side glance, although the result is more deranged stalker than sexy scallywag!

Let's just hope he didn't try and steal the hat off the guy in the background!
