Is it us or are celeb names getting weirder and weirder?
First it was babies named after a place with the Beckham's calling their first born Brooklyn, then it was a fruit when Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow called their baby Apple, Jamie and Jools Oliver go for flower names with Petal, Poppy and Daisy!
So when we heard the celebs are now turning to birds for name inspiration we didn't know whether it was trend or tragic?
Nicole Richie and hubby Joel Madden have named their new born baby Sparrow! Or Sparrow James Midnight Madden to be exact!
What do you think? Is Sparrow a name that everyone's going to copy?
While you think about it we'll think of some more weird baby names!
Spice Girl Geri Halliwell called her daughter Bluebell - another flower!
What happened to names like Hannah, Lucy, Chloe and Katie!

Does she realise her baby is a girl? I have no problem with unusual names but when they sound really stupid i feel bad for the poor kid. What are they gonna do when they go for a job interveiw. ''Hello, my names Sparrow James.''

i think its good to have names that are differnt then people always know who ur talking abou if it was something boring evryone would be like which one? lol ive got kindof a weird name its montana and people r always called me hannah montana, gets kinda annoying lol

Sparrow is bad enough but then a middle name of James, male surely!!? aha poor kid. At least she's unique... :/ aha

Its a bit crazy! Ashlee Simpson called her child Bronx Mowgli which is kinda cute.

love them lool but apples a no no poor baby i love the name sparrow and brooklyn i wanna call my baby bronx or onyx x)
