Blake Lively and Taylor Momsen were just two of the lovely Gossip Girl ladies who turned out to support the launch of a new fashion collection inspired by the show...

The collection designed by Anna Sui was launched in New York on Wednesday after months of speculation.

Apparently the designer became a Gossip Girl fan after being introduced to it by her nieces and she loved the shows look so much that she decided to design a collection of clothes based around  it.

At the launch, gorgeous Blake Lively looked every bit as stylish as her alter ego Serena in a monochrome dress, black studded heels and with her signature blonde tresses flowing.

Never one to be outshone Taylor Momsen mirrored Jenny's edgey style with a grungey print tee,  a collection of gold necklaces,  a leather pencil skirt and shoe boots.  She finished the dramatic look with bright red lips and smudgey kohled eyes which stood out against her ever growing white blonde mane.

The Gossip Girl collection by Anna Sui is on sale in Target stores in the US only, so UK fans will have to settle for recreating their favourite character's style without designer help.
