The friendly pair have even further fuelled rumours that they are a couple after Lohan was spotted with a giant rock weighing her hand down.

Lohan celebrated her 22nd b-day recently and sources claim Ronson lavished Lohan with a shopping spree and purchased the $22,000 Cartier ring. Apparently it's not an engagement ring but a sign of their commitment to each other.

Samantha Ronson and Lindsay have been mates for quite some time now but reports of their friendship taking a a different turn hit the headlines in May when they were spotted kissing and cuddling at a film festival party in Cannes, now check them out in the picture below holding hands...
